This initiative allows us to step beyond our dispensaries and make a meaningful impact where it matters most—at home, with family.
Supporting Raul Fuerte and His Family
This year, Mint Cannabis had the opportunity to help Raul Fuerte, a 22-year-old father whose life changed dramatically when his one-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia. Raul’s family has been navigating an incredibly emotional and demanding journey as his son undergoes intensive medical treatment.
Raul’s son is currently in his fourth cycle of chemotherapy, which has required frequent hospital visits, ongoing care, and constant monitoring. As a result, Raul has been unable to work, focusing all of his time and energy on being present for his child during treatment.
Standing With Families During Uncertain Times
Following the current chemotherapy cycle, doctors will perform a bone marrow biopsy to determine whether the cancer is under control. This waiting period can be one of the most stressful moments for families, filled with uncertainty and emotional strain. Through the Adopt A Family program, Mint Cannabis aimed to ease some of that burden by offering support during this critical time.
While no gesture can fully remove the hardship families like Raul’s face, we believe that compassion, community support, and action can make a real difference.
